Prathamesh Jaju, a 16-year-old teenager from Maharashtra’s Pune, took to fame after he shared one of the most clear picture of the moon on social media. He created a three dimensional shot by compiling 50,000 pictures together to get the perfect image of the moon.
Calling himself an amateur astronomer, Prathamesh Jaju shared the complete detail behind the perfect moon picture.

In an interview with ANI, Prathamesh Jaju shared the process in detail about clicking viral moon pictures He said, “I captured the image on May 3 around 1 pm after sitting for 4 hours. The processing of the picture took 38-40 hours and after clicking 50,000 pictures and stitching them together the perfect and crisp picture of the moon is seen.”
He added “Raw data was 100GB and when you process it the data gets bigger, so it was around 186 GB. After the final outcome the file was around 600MB.”

Prathamesh said, “ I read articles and watch YouTube videos to gather information. I want to become an astrophysicist and study astronomy professionally. Astrophotography is just an hobby for now.”
The viral image of the moon has received over 11,00 likes on Instagram. Prathamesh Jaju is active on social media with more than 41.5 k followers on his Instagram account.
