In these pandemic times, when people are scrambling for any available avenue to find a hospital, the internet can be a major help. Hospital websites help patients find relevant information that may aid in saving lives. But what would a patient do if the website of a hospital in Uttar Pradesh says on its homepage that their analysis is %u201Cyour financial result%u201D?

The website of Seth Baldev Das District Hospital in Saharanpur has nothing related to the hospital apart from the name of the hospital and the logo of the Government of Uttar Pradesh. The website hosts nothing related to medical science apart from a reference to a COVID-19 help desk, X-Rays, a blood bank and few other medical facilities but the links do not work.

With some lines in English, the majority of the content on the website is actually in Latin. The website uses what seems to be a template that hosts content about financial services. The homepage talks about the analysis of financial documents in more than one place.

The address given on the website is a template from New York and the phone number is also invalid and is all the digits in sequence.

The website uses a PopularFX theme template and has not been actually completed. The page that is supposed to host the information about the hospital says %u201C1200+ trusted clients%u201D and %u201C109+ awards%u201D.

This may seem like a one-sided story on a hospital that may be helping people, but wait, a number or some contact detail is needed to take their version but the ‘website’ has all but nothing relevant. So if you come across anything about this hospital, take a pause and think – Do I really want to take this chance?
