The official Twitter account of Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Central Delhi shared a doodle on Friday to remind people about the importance of wearing masks. The artwork, which featured coronavirus and human beings, was inspired by ‘pawri ho rahi hai’, a meme that recently went viral on social media.

Banerjee first shared his artwork on LinkedIn on March 7 to raise awareness about the importance of social distancing and wearing masks.

“With cases rising again in the country and the ‘I don’t care’ attitude at display, looks like COVID-19 is having a #pawri

Guys, this is not the time to be careless. Let’s keep the mask on, maintain social distance and sanitize our hands.

Let’s be a #pawri pooper now. We can celebrate and party later,” he wrote in the caption.
