India
is currently working on providing relief and ensure the safe return of 33
Indians stranded in Somalia, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar said on
Friday. He added that the High Commission in Nairobi has taken up the
predicament with authorities of Somalia.

The
33 Indian labourers, of which 25 workers are from Uttar Pradesh, were held

They had joined the company 10
months ago. In the first two months, the company treated them well, but from
the last eight months, the workers were allegedly not paid their salaries.
