India men’s cricket team captain Virat Kohli, on International Women’s Day, posted a long and powerful message for wife Anushka Sharma and daughter Vamika. He said, “Seeing the birth of a child is the most spine-chilling, unbelievable, and amazing experience a human being can have.”

“After witnessing that, you understand the true strength and divinity of women and why God created life inside them. It’s because they are way stronger than us men,” Kohli further added.

“Happy Women’s Day to the most fiercely, compassionate and strong woman of my life and to the one who’s going to grow up to be like her mother. And also a Happy Women’s Day to all the amazing women of the world,” the message further read.

Anushka and Kohli welcomed their baby daughter on January 11.

In December 2020, Kohli returned to India to be with his wife after the first Test between Australia and India at the Adelaide Oval.

In August 2020, Kohli and Anushka announced that they will be welcoming their first child in January 2021. “And then, we were three! Arriving Jan 2021,” both the actor and the cricketer had shared on their Instagram handles.
