Bollywood actor Kangana Ranaut, who left from her home town
of Mandi in
Himachal Pradesh on Wednesday morning, is at the centre of a heated political
row with Maharashtra’s ruling Shiv Sena and its coalition partners over her
remark, where she compared Mumbai to Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK).

On
her way, Kangana stopped at a temple to offer prayers at a temple in the Kothi area of Hamirpur district. She will take a flight to

Sharing a tweet, the ‘Queen’ actor wrote, “I
have lived the courage, valor, and sacrifice of Rani Laxmibai through my films.
The sad thing is that I am being prevented from coming to my own Maharashtra. I
will continue to raise my voice against wrong, Jai Maharashtra, Jai Shivaji.”

According
to Dr. Devender Sharma, a chief medical officer, Mandi district, Kangana was
also reported to have tested negative for Covid-19. Kangana was involved in a verbal war with Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut over her comment on
the Mumbai Police after the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput.

After
he reportedly asked her not to return to Mumbai for comparing the city to
Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK), she had announced  that she will be reaching the city September 9.

After his comments, the actor shared a video, saying that Shiv Sena had called her names. “It shows your mindset…If I criticise Mumbai Police or if I criticise you, then you can’t say I am insulting Maharashtra. You are not Maharashtra. Your people are threatening me, still I will come to Mumbai on September 9,” she had said.
