Former Congress chief
Rahul Gandhi in a press conference on Wednesday urged Prime Minister Narendra
Modi to do his job of a PM rather than selling the country to 1% of the
population. He reminded Modi of his duties of protecting the interest of
farmers who are protesting against the Centre’s farm laws from over two months.

He also said that the PM
should immediately listen to the plea of farmers and run the country wisely, as
presently, India lacks leadership. “Go hold their hand, give them a hug and tell them ‘what is it that I can
do for you'”, added Gandhi, reported PTI.

The Congress leader took a
dig at PM saying that he has given up on this country and the country is not
being run properly due to lack of proper leadership. He is on a different tangent and Indians
on another.

Gandhi also mentioned that
farmers are “our biggest strength” who are been treated badly by
the BJP-RSS mindset. He further questioned that this is how our farmers who
work hard for this country should be treated like, reported PTI.

Congress former chief told
that the farmers’ issue needs to be solved as soon as possible.

The ongoing farmers’ protest, that has been going on since 70 days, has created a stir all over the country and is not
