Bollywood
actor Kangana Ranaut
and Punjabi singer-turned-actor Diljit Dosanjh once again
locked horns on Twitter over farmers’ protesting at various Delhi
borders for over two months now against Centre’s newly enacted farm laws, but
the clash this time gone international.

The ruckus started when Diljit Dosanjh, who has been openly extending support to farmers’ agitation majorly dominated by farmers’ from Punjab and Haryana, on Wednesday announced the release of his new song ‘Ri Ri’, reportedly dedicated to Rihanna after the international pop queen asked Twitter to initiate conversations around internet suspension in Delhi following the violent clashes between farmers and police.

Kangana, who already expressed her dissent with Rihanna’s intervention, took this opportunity to attack Diljit.

Here’s what Kangana said.

Labeling the ‘Good New’actor as ‘Libru’, Kangana asked Diljit how could a song be prepared in one night.

Diljit, who was in no mood to let it go, shut down Kangana by it’s just a half an hour job for someone who wishes to create a song.

Here’s how the rest of the conversation turned went.

The twitter went uglier when the Queen actor went up a step and accused Diljit of backing riots and claimed that Khalistan will never become a reality.

Diljit pulled no punches in slamming Knagana asked her to shut up and said that the nation belongs to everyone, not just her.

Kangana also asked Diljit to prove his patriotism by condemning the Khalistani movement and assert that he is not a part of it.

On being repeatedly poked by the ‘Tanu weds Manu’ actor regarding Khalistani links, Diljit conceded by saying that he would never engage in a discussion with the actor as none of her points make any sense.

Howvever, this is not the first time Diljit and Kangana exchanged heated words on the farmers’ issue.

Earlier in Dember last year, Kangana, who is known to make headlines with controversial comments, engaged in a Twitter spat with Diljit Dosanjh after she wrongly identifying an elderly Sikh woman as Bilkis Bano of the Shaheen Bagh’s anti-CAA protest.
