A food delivery boy died on Friday after an overspeeding Mercedes hit his scooter in the Oshiwara area of Mumbai, reports news agency ANI.

“An overspeeding car lost control & jumped a divider, hitting my nephew’s scooty. He died in hospital later,” ANI quoted Saroj, deceased’s uncle, as saying.

Mumbai police arrested the driver and impounded his vehicle after the case was reported.
