Hollywood actor Steve Martin has wished Aishwarya Rai and daughter Aradhya good health on his Twitter post, after they got admitted to the Nanavati Hospital in Mumbai with COVID-19. Steve and Aishwarya worked together for the 2009 film ‘Pink Panther 2’.

Taking to Twitter, Steve wrote, “I’m wishing Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and her daughter a speedy recovery. She was such an elegant and delightful acting partner in Pink Panther.”

Earlier today, American wrestler John Cena shared a photo of the ‘Devdas’ actor on Twitter. He did not put any caption to it. Cena did the same thing when actors Amitabh and Abhishek Bachchan tested positive for the virus.

Four members of the Bachchan family— Amitabh, Abhishek, Aishwarya and Aradhya tested positive for COVID-19 last week. While actors Amitabh and Abhishek Bachchan were admitted immediately to Mumbai’s Nanavati Hospital with mild symptoms, the latter’s wife and actor Aishwarya Rai, and her daughter Aradhya were put in home quarantine. Later, the mother-daughter duo was admitted to the same hospital after developing mild symptoms.

The Harald Zwart directorial, ‘Pink Panther 2’ featured Aishwarya as criminology expert Sonia Solandres and Steve as Inspector Clouseau. Though the movie did not fare well at the box office, it earned Aishwarya much fame abroad.
