Cricketer Virat Kohli and actress Anushka
Sharma
are quite protective about their daughter Vamika, who was born in
January 2021. The parents, who left for South Africa for India’s upcoming Test
series against the Proteas, were seen requesting the photographers not to click
their daughter and this time too, Kohli jumped onto his feet to request the
photographers to not take her photos.

While arriving at the airport, the family
faced a few photographers. Kohli was the first one to step out of the team bus
and said, “Baby ka photo mat lena (Please don’t click the baby).”

Kohli and Anushka have recently celebrated
their fourth marriage anniversary.

Bollywood actress Anushka recently opened
up about her motherhood and work in an interview with Grazia. “I wanted to take
some time off and understand what it was I wanted to do work-wise and what kind
of movies I wanted to be a part of.” She also spoke about Virat’s support
during the first trimester of her pregnancy and said, “Had he been travelling,
I wouldn’t have been able to accompany him in my condition. My first trimester
was awful, so it was nice to have him by my side, to handhold and be my
cheerleader,” she said.

Anushka is looking forward to the release
of Qala, starring Babil Khan, and Mai, starring Sakshi Tanwar, under her banner
Clean Slate Filmz. She is yet to sign her next acting project.

Kohli, meanwhile, recently lost his ODI
captaincy after stepping down as Team India’s T20I skipper after the T20 World
Cup in the UAE. The former white-ball captain of India will, however, will be
seen leading India in the Test series against South Africa, starting December
26 at SuperSport Park, Centurion.

India will play a three-match Test series
and as many ODIs in South Africa. The ODI series will start on January 19 in Paarl.
Rohit Sharma will lead India in the ODIs.
