Not washing your face before bed

The urge to skip the last wash of your day is completely understandable. But just because you can’t see dirt on your face doesn’t mean it is not there and over time, your skin will pay the price. So, it’s better to wash your face before bedtime to keep your skin healthy and clear of breakouts.

Using face cleansing wipes regularly

Most of the cleansing wipes contain a lot of alcohol and could strip the skin’s natural barrier. Wipes are meant to be used in an emergency. To avoid changing the pH level of your skin, stop using wipes on a regular basis. 

Applying low-quality makeup

If you like makeup and want to use it every day, that’s great. But choose good-quality products that suit the needs of your skin. Also, avoid makeup for a few days to let your skin rest.

Skipping sunscreen

If you think that the sun will not harm your skin during cold weather then you are in trouble. Exposure to sunlight without wearing sunscreen leads to photodamage, which results in early ageing. SPF sunscreen should be worn at all times. 

Using one set of bedding for too long

Not changing your bedsheets and pillowcases for too long ends up transporting all the dust and impurities on our face. If you are experiencing multiple skin breakouts and acne, maybe its time to change your bedding.
