The 2022 NFL season resumed its Week 5 on Sunday, October 9, as the Buffalo Bills faced the Pittsburgh Steelers at the Bills Stadium. The hosts have been in top form since the 2022 season began as they have won three games, losing only one. They replicated their performance once again against the Steelers on Sunday, as wide receiver Gabe Davis registered a top-notch one-handed rushing touchdown.

Davis, 23, has been one of the Bills’ best players this season and he did not disappoint against the Steelers on Sunday. Quarterback Josh Allen found Davis with a long-range pass, which Davis converted into a touchdown with a one-handed reception that left everyone in awe of his abilities.

The touchdown by Gabe Davis came in the first quarter when quarterback Josh Allen found him with a 62-yard pass. It was his second touchdown of the game, as he had made a 98-yard reception from Josh Allen earlier in the game.

The wide receiver is regarded widely for his big-game abilities, which were on display on Sunday night. He also made 8 receptions for 201 yards and 4 touchdowns when the Bills were beaten by the Kansas City Chiefs in 2021.

Davis’ 98-yard reception from Josh Allen helped the Bills to take a 7-0 lead as Levi Wallace failed to tackle him before he completed the touchdown. The 98-yard touchdown also equalled the longest offensive touchdown in the history of the Buffalo Bills, the first of which came through Ryan Fitzpatrick to Terrell Ownes in the 2009 season.

Gabe Davis has registered 3 receptions out of 6 targets for 171 yards, 2 rushing touchdowns, 3 first downs and an average of 57 yards per reception in the game at the time of writing this article. He has also recorded 78 receptions out of 139 targets for 1,286 yards, 14 receiving touchdowns, 62 first downs, 1 carry and 1 fumble recovery in his career so far.
