Las Vegas Raiders defensive end Chandler Jones deleted Instagram Story posts where he addressed some grievances with the team before the start of the regular season.

Jones shared screenshots of text messages addressed to head coach Josh McDaniels. He asked if the team brought him to Vegas to “play with me” grumbling about the fact that he was being forced to work out at a local gym rather than at the team’s facility.

In another post, Jones wrote that the team was trying to “provoke” him by barring him from the facility. He also claimed that someone from the team reached out to the mother of his child despite him not having any relationship with her at present.

Jones said that he wants to speak to Antonio Brown and Aldon Smith about their issues with the Raiders. He concluded by suggesting that he wasn’t even interested in playing for McDaniels or General Manager Dave Ziegler.

“Fuck it, I don’t wanna play for the Raiders if that’s my HC or GM,” Jones wrote.

Chandler Jones signed a 3-year, $51,000,000 contract with the Las Vegas Raiders, including a $12,000,000 signing bonus, $32,000,000 guaranteed. The team restructured Jones’ contract by creating $5.068 million in cap space to use for signing draft picks amongst other factors in April this year.

Jones signed a three-year deal with the Raiders last season. He was set to have a cap number north of $14.2 million.

Jones had 38 tackles, 4.5 sacks, and three fumble recoveries. He will join first-round pick Tyree Wilson on the edge of the Raiders defense.
