Muhammad Rizwan, Pakistan’s wicketkeeper-batter, turned 30 on Wednesday. The Sussex superstar is currently in England preparing for the T20 Blast 2022 match against Tom Abell’s Somerset in Tauton. He will then be seen in action in the upcoming three-match home ODI series against West Indies, starting June 8.

Rizwan made his County Championship debut, with Sussex, this year. He recently scored a 60-ball 81 for Sussex against Glamorgan on T20 Blast debut.

The Pakistan player and India’s Cheteshwar Pujara made their Sussex debut together. The duo were a part of a 154-run partnership that helped their side to a mammoth first-innings lead against Durham. A picture of the two batting together had gone viral on social media.

As Muhammad Rizwan turned 30, Pujara wished him the best. The Indian Test veteran’s tweet went viral and has been liked more than 36,000 times.

“Happy birthday @iMRizwanPak! Have a fabulous year ahead,” Pujara captioned a photo of him and Rizwan,” Pujara tweeted.

“Wowww. We were not expecting it but you made our day lots of respect for you,” a Twitter user commented.

“Pujara Jani Wining Hearts of Pakistani Fans.. That’s Real Sportsmanship.. Cricket Should Be Keep Away From Politics.. Love, Respect And Prayers For You Bhai From Pakistan ❤” another one tweeted.

Rizwan had recently praised Pujara’s concentration and said that he wants to focus like the India batter.

“He is a very nice and loving guy. And his concentration and focus too… If you get a chance to learn something, you should do it,” Rizwan had told Cricwick.

“In terms of concentration levels and I told this to the coaches here too. In my whole career, the players with most focus, concentration are Younis bhai, Fawad Alam and his (Pujara’s).”

Cheteshwar Pujara finished his Sussex red-ball leg with two centuries and as many double hundreds in five games. He will be seen in action when India take on England in one Test at Lord’s in July.
