People%20of%20the%20Marathi%20community%20in%20Karnataka%u2019s%20Hubli%20staged%20a%20protest%20on%20Tuesday%20after%20a%20statue%20of%20Maratha%20icon%20Chhatrapati%20Shivaji%20Maharaj%20collapsed.%20The%20protesters%20demanded%20an%20inquiry%20and%20questioned%20the%20quality%20of%20the%20statue%20installed%2C%20reported%20ANI.

Hubli-Dharwad%20Municipal%20Corporation%20Commissioner%20on%20Tuesday%20said%20that%20an%20investigation%20will%20be%20launched%20in%20the%20matter%20and%20a%20new%20statue%20will%20be%20installed%20soon.

According%20to%20Vijay%20Karmataka%2C%20the%20statue%20was%20made%20up%20of%20bronze%20and%20was%20worth%20Rs%2012.50%20lakh.%20The%20statue%20of%20Chhatrapati%20Shivaji%20Maharaj%20was%2012%20feet%20long%20and%20was%20made%20in%20Indore%2C%20Madhya%20Pradesh%20and%20was%20brought%20to%20Hubli%20in%202018.%26nbsp%3B

The%20Maratha%20community%2C%20which%20blamed%20the%20poor%20work%20on%20the%20statue%2C%20demanded%20that%20a%20case%20should%20be%20filed%20against%20the%20statue%27s%20contractor.
