Spectators at the Dallas Mavericks vs Phoenix Suns NBA game on Monday chanted Odell Beckham Jr‘s name as the star wide receiver attended the matchup at the American Airlines Center. The 30-year-old attended the tie with Dallas Cowboys players Trevon Diggs and Micah Parsons.

OBJ, as Odell Beckham Jr is popularly called, is currently a free agent. Several NFL outfits have reportedly bid to employ the star WR’s services, but he has been strongly linked to the Dallas Cowboys.

Beckham suffered a torn ACL in the knee during Los Angeles Rams’ Super Bowl game in February. The team won the championship but he missed the 2022 season so far. 

OBJ met Dallas Cowboys on Monday.  He was, as per reports, given courtside seats for Monday night’s Dallas Mavericks game against the Phoenix Suns. During a timeout, when the NFL star appeared on the big screen, fans started chanting his name.

Beckham is also set to meet with Cowboys’ Dak Prescott on Tuesday. The starting quarterback has been vocal about wanting to sign the free agent WR. OBJ also visited New York Giants as a part of his free agency tour. 

Odell Beckham Jr  had 48 catches for 593 yards and seven touchdowns in 12 games with the Rams. The 30-year-old has caught 56 touchdowns in his NFL career.

Beckham politely declined to discuss his visit with reporters when he arrived at the Mavericks’ arena in downtown Dallas. Former star Cowboys receiver Dez Bryant also greeted Beckham at the game.

“We’re trying to be as great as we can be in every aspect,” Prescott said. “And obviously getting late into the year with what we’ve got coming up just in our schedule, then obviously making a run at the Super Bowl, you want to make sure you have as many weapons as you can.”
