Davido, the American-Nigerian singer-songwriter, is one of the performers at the FIFA World Cup 2022 closing ceremony that is being held at the Lusail Stadium. He is being accompanied by Qatari singer AISHA. The FIFA World Cup final will see Argentina playing against France on Sunday, December 18.

The 2022 World Cup marks Argentina’s sixth entry into the World Cup finals. Argentina has won the tournament twice (1978, 1986) and has been the runner-up thrice (1930, 1990, 2014). 

France has entered the FIFA World Cup finals for the fourth time. They have won the Cup twice, once in 1998, and another in the last World Cup, in 2018. In 2006, France finished as runners-up, losing on penalties to Italy.

Other official soundtracks from the FIFA album 2022 include Dreamers sung by K-Pop artist Jungkook, Arhbo sung by Puerto-Rican singer Ozuna and French-Congolese rapper Gims.

Hayya Hayya ( Better Together ) is part of the official soundtrack of the FIFA World Cup this year and is sung by Nigerian singer Davido, Qatari singer AISHA, and American singer Trinidad Cardona.

It is the first single of the multi-song soundtrack. The song was released on April 1, 2022. The title of the song, ‘Hayya’ is an Arabic term meaning ‘let’s go’. The official video of the song also features Moroccan-Swedish singer Nadir Khayat aka RedOne, alongside AISHA, Davido, and Trinidad Cardona. RedOne was the producer of the song. 

The official artist lineup for the FIFA closing ceremony was announced by FIFA, also dispelling rumors of Shakira performing at the ceremony.
