Jerry Jones, the owner and general manager of the Cowboys, announced on Wednesday that DeMarcus Ware, the franchise’s all-time leader in sacks, is set to be inducted into the Ring of Honor later in the current NFL season.
This prestigious honor comes on the heels of Ware’s recent induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame earlier this month. Now, his name will have a permanent place of recognition alongside other Cowboys legends at AT&T Stadium.
