K’Waun Williams, the cornerback for the Denver Broncos, caught a late-game interception from Jacksonville Jaguars QB Trevor Lawrence to close out the Week 8 game at Wembley Stadium in London.

The game ended with the Broncos winning 21-17 from an inspired comeback in the second half of the game, outscoring the Jaguars 14-7.

It was a big win for the team from Mile High as they had lost their last four games. They started their season with a 2-1 record but also lost two consecutive games in overtime as well. They now move to a 3-5 record and are third in the AFC West.

Denver’s defense which has been a consistent performer through the first seven games of the season stepped up once again in today’s game, recording two interceptions despite having the football for 25:56 minutes in the match.

The team is one of the highest-ranked teams in terms of passing yards allowed with 1,212 yards for the season. They are fourth in the entire NFL in this category. Overall they have just allowed points at an average of 16.4 points, which is third in the league, behind only the Buffalo Bills and Dallas Cowboys. 

The game started with QB Russell Wilson throwing an interception early on in the game which led to Jacksonville scoring a Td in the next play. 

Broncos had a far superior passing game, as they outpassed their opponents 230 to 114. They scored two rushing touchdowns in the game despite rushing for a total of 101 yards as compared to Jaguars’ 191 yards.

Russell Wilson had a decent comeback game, passing for 252 yards in just 18 completed passes out of the 30 passes attempted. A lot was going on for the player coming into the game as he has been often criticized for his decisions late in the game. But his today’s play has definitely lifted the spirits of the Broncos’ fans who wish that their team continues on a winning streak from now on.
