Dak Prescott’s Dallas Cowboys ended Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ 2022 campaign with a 31-14 win in the wild-card round on Monday. The two sides locked horns at the Raymond James Stadium.

Prescott completed 25 of 33 passes for 305 yards and played turnover-free ball for the first time in eight games. He threw for four touchdowns and rushed for one. 

Tom Brady, who had been 7-0 against the Cowboys, completed 35 of 66 passes for 351 yards, including second-half touchdowns of 30 yards to Julio Jones and 8 yards to Cameron Brate. He was sacked twice and also threw a costly interception.

The NFL GOAT will be a free agent this winter. He is touted to join the Las Vegas Raiders or retire. However, his 2022 season came to an end with a humiliating loss against Dallas.

Many social media users, after the game, wondered if Tampa quarterback Tom Brady shook Prescott’s hand after the game. 

“Wonder if Brady shook Dak’s hand. I saw him talk to a couple guys then run in,” a Twitter user asked.

“Did Tom Brady seriously not shake Dak’s hand after the game??! What a POS!!! And don’t give me that crap about being super competitive!!,” a second one added. 

“Brady’s a scumbag for not shaking Daks hand,” a third one added. 

Brady did go to Dak to congratulate the Dallas star after the win. 

Prescott tossed the first of his two TD passes to Dalton Schultz to get the Cowboys going, then turned Brady’s first red-zone interception since 2019 into points by finishing a 15-play, 80-yard drive by circling left end for a 1-yard TD run on fourth down.

The Dallas quarterback expanded the lead to 18-0 with an 11-yard TD throw to Schultz, then threw 2 yards to Michael Gallup for a 24-point lead early in the third quarter. It could have been 28-0 if not for Maher missing all four extra points.
