Cleveland Browns and NFL were criticised on Sunday after quarterback Deshaun Watson started against the Houston Texans. The two sides locked horns at the NRG Stadium in Week 13.

Watson was accused by more than two dozen women of sexual misconduct. Ten of those women were supposed to attend the Houston vs Cleveland game, their attorney had said. However, we cannot verify their presence.
The Texans drafted Deshaun Watson in 2017 before he demanded a trade after four seasons and was eventually dealt to Cleveland in March. He served an 11-game suspension without pay following the allegations.

“I’ve been angry at the NFL for the Deshaun Watson ruling all year, but seeing him actually on the field today and playing for the Browns after 24 women came forward with allegations of sexual assault against him is despicable. Do Better NFL,” a social media user said.
“Are they going to let DeShaun Watson into the blue tent? Hopefully they have no women staffers…” another one said.

“While Deshaun Watson served an 11 game suspension for sexually assaulting (at least) 25 women, Calvin Ridley is serving a season-long suspension for gambling,” a third one tweeted.
Fans booed Watson has he arrived for the game.

“I understand you guys have a lot of questions, but with my legal team and my clinical team, there is only football questions that I can really address at this time,” Watson told reporters.
“I also want to thank the Browns organization, the ownership, my teammates in that locker room and all of the coaching staff for all of the support that they had for me, especially my time away,” he added.
Watson started the game vs Houston Texans with an interception in the end zone.
