The National Football League completed 12 weeks of thrilling action last Monday night.

There have been some amazing individual performances from various players across the league. 

Running Back Josh Jacobs of the Las Vegas Raiders had a record-breaking performance in Week 12 when he gained 229 yards on the ground and an additional 74 receiving yards for two touchdowns. Since at least 1950, he is the only player to have accumulated more than 225 rushing yards and more than 70 receiving yards in a single game.

Looking at the positional leaders from the NFL after Week 12:

OFFENSE:

1) Passing: –

Kansas City ChiefsPatrick Mahomes leads the league with the most passing yards with 3,585 after 12 games. He has thrown 29 touchdown passes which is also the most this season. With a pass completion percentage of 66.1%, he is 15th among all quarterbacks in this category. The 2020 Super Bowl MVP  has also been intercepted eight times.

2) Rushing: –

With a great performance last week, Josh Jacobs leads all running backs with the most rushing yards, 1,159 yards. He is also fourth in scoring while running the ball with nine rushing Tds. The Rb has the third most rushing attempts this season.

3) Receiving: –

‘The Cheetah’ Tyreek Hill of the Miami Dolphins has been leading all the wide receivers for the majority of the weeks in receiving yards and the total number of receptions. He has recorded 1,233 yards in 87 receptions. His receptions are just four less than Buffalo Bills’ Stefon Diggs.

DEFENSE:

1) Tackles: –

LB of Seattle Seahawks, Jordyn Brooks is in the first position with 82 solo and 122 total tackles. Following him closely in the second position is Zaire Franklin of the Indianapolis Colts with 121 tackles.

2) Sacks: –

Matthew Judon, linebacker of the New England Patriots, has a league-leading 13.0 sacks for 88 lost yards.

3) Interceptions: –

Third-year Safety of the Philadelphia EaglesChauncey “C.J.” Gardner-Johnson has six interceptions. Along with this he also has recorded 55 solo tackles under his name.

SCORING

107 points have been scored by the kicker of Buffalo Bills‘ Tyler Bass. The player has also made 24 field goals out of his 27 FG attempts.
