Week 12 of the 2022 NFL season concluded with a thrilling game between the Indianapolis Colts and the Pittsburgh Steelers. The two sided locked horns at the Lucas Oil Field Stadium in Indianapolis.

The result of the game was in favor of the Pittsburgh Steelers who won 24-17. The victory gave the Steelers just their second away win of the season and their overall record also improved to 4-7 but the team is still at the bottom of the AFC North division.

As for the Colts, new interim head coach Jeff Saturday‘s tenure is not going the way he or the owner James Irsay wanted it to. After winning in his first game against the Las Vegas Raiders, Monday’s loss is a second on the trot for the former Super Bowl winner and ESPN Analyst, Saturday. They are now 4-7-1 for the season.

1) A great second quarter ensures momentum in Steelers’ corner

After being scoreless in the first quarter, the Steelers bounced back to score a TD after RB Najee Harris ran for six yards into the Colts’ endzone. The team then also converted 25-yard FG from kicker Matthew Wright to secure a 16-3 lead at the end of the first half.

2) Colts’ initiate a third-quarter comeback

Fantasy Football’s number one pick, RB Jonathan Taylor and WR Michael Pittman Jr led a resurgent Colts to two TDs in the third quarter. It was the third consecutive game with a TD for Taylor while Pittman JR scored just his second TD of the season and the first since Week 1. The Steelers were kept quiet during this time.

3) It’s all to play for in the fourth quarter

It was 17-16 at half-time and only 15 minutes were left to determine the winner of this match. A 2-yard run from RB Benny Snell Jr. was good enough to seal the deal for the visiting team. The Steelers managed to keep the six-point lead gained to win the game. The team had a 0-6 record when trailing going into the fourth quarter prior to Monday night and is now 1-6 in this category.
