Moore, a student at Maryland’s Good Counsel High in Olney, announced his commitment via an Instagram Live video.

Moore, a wide receiver who is now ranked 64th overall and 432nd among prospects in the 2024 class, made up his mind after making an official visit to Tallahassee from June 16 to 18.

Despite Ohio State being a longtime preference, Moore ultimately decided Florida State University was the better option. Elijah Moore brings the total for Florida State’s 2024 recruiting class up to 14, which includes notable prospects like tight end Laden Thomas, who has a 5-star rating, and quarterback Luke Kromenhoek, who has a 4-star rating. Along with Camdon Frier, the son of former FSU receiver Matt Frier, and 4-star receiver Tawaski Abrams, Moore joins the class as the third receiver.
