Justin Hollins and Tak McKinley, linerbacks for the Los Angeles Rams, got into a heated argument on Los Angeles Rams sideline vs San Franciso 49ers. They were soon separated. 

The 49ers won 24-9.

The incident took place as the Rams defense struggled against a Deebo Samuel-led San Francisco’s offense all through the game. The wide receiver had six receptions, 115 receiving yards and one touchdown in the first three quarters at the Levi’s Stadium on Monday.

The players – Hollins and McKinley – were clearly frustrated. After the two were seperated, the ESPN broadcast showed Los Angeles Director of football affairs Jacques McClendon cooling McKinley down. The player was recently promoted to the active roster. He seemed to be explaining why his emotions were high.

San Francisco ruled out defensive lineman Arik Armstead, who was questionable (foot injury) coming in to the game. 

Watch Hollins and McKinley arguing at the sideline: 

“that argument between mckinley & hollins looked… not good 🙄” a social media user tweeted. 

“Bro our mid players mckinley and hollins beefing with each other. They need to beef with jimmy G instead. WTF,” another one said on Twitter

“Takk McKinley was just fighting with Hollins on the sideline, they had to be seperated and then he was threatening to take his equipment off and leave the game à la Antonio Brown,” a third one tweeted. 

Deebo Samuel led San Franciso’s charge in the first half. He ran 57 yards following a pass from QB Jimmy Garropolo to score the 49ers’ second touchdown of the night. The play took place in the second quarter of the game.
