During Friday’s game, Garnacho came on as a substitute against Everton. Eagle-eyed fans spotted the Argentine wearing a pair of CR7-branded underwear.

Photos of him surfaced online in which he is seen lifting his shirt with the branding of the pants being visible.

Garnacho considers Ronaldo his footballing idols and has not ended his admiration for him despite the Portuguese legend’s exit from the club late last year.

Ronaldo’s contract was terminated by the United after he lashed out at boss Erik ten Hag in an explosive interview with Piers Morgan.

Ronaldo has now joined the Saudi Arabian side Al-Nassr, becoming the highest-paid sportsperson of all time.

Garnacho had reached out to Ronaldo after his “biggest dream” was ended at the ongoing World Cup in Qatar.

Reflecting on Portugal being eliminated from the competition, Ronaldo shared a message on Instagra, which read in part: “Winning the World Cup for Portugal was the biggest and most ambitious dream of my career.

“I fought for it. I fought hard for this dream.”

Garnacho simply left a red love-heart emoji in the comments section to show his respect and gratitude.

In 2013, the trademark CR7 – a mix of Ronald’s initials and jersey number – began advertising a line of branded underwear. In addition, shoes, fragrances, and apparel are also available as broader product offerings.
