Popular American rapper Megan Thee Stallion did a live performance after the Thursday Night Football game in Week 9 of the NFL 2022 season, as the Houston Texans were beaten 17-29 by the Philadelphia Eagles at NRG Stadium. The 27-year-old is from Houston herself and her performance after the game left the fans delighted.
Megan Jovon Ruth Pete, popularly known by her stage name Megan Thee Stallion, performed live after the Thursday Night Football on Amazon Prime on November 3. While celebrity performances are not rare in the NFL, the rapper’s performance was part of the broadcasters’ Amazon Music Live event, which also includes Lil Baby and Kane Brown.

The Amazon Music Live event was available for viewing on its Prime Video app. It also airs new episodes every Thursday at 9 pm PT. Popular rapper 2 Chainz is also the host of the series.
Megan Thee Stallion, a Grammy winner, performed tracks from her most recent album, named “Traumazine.” Videos of the rapper performing songs such as “Simon Says” and “Freak Nasty” went viral on Twitter as both NFL and the singer’s fans expressed their delight.
The Amazon Music Live series will also include 2 Chainz interviewing all guests who perform at the series, including Megan Thee Stallion.
The 27-year-old’s live performance on Thursday night took place in front of a live audience, however, the tickets to the concert were based on only invitations.

The Houston-based rapper’s latest album, Traumazine, was released on Friday, August 22, 2022. It has since then garnered many positive reviews from critics and fans alike. The album has a total of five singles, the last of which, Ungrateful, was released on September 6.
Amazon Prime Video is also the broadcaster of Thursday Night Football of the NFL, which is exclusively aired by the company.
Before Megan Thee Stallion, Lil Baby performed in Amazon Music Live previously. He performed tracks from his latest album It’s Only Me. After November 3, Kane Brown, a popular country singer, will be performing on the stage the next week on November 10.
