Brooklyn Nets have lost both Andre Drummond and Bruce Brown in 48 hours. More rumors are filling the primetime shows that Kevin Durant and Kyle Irving are the next ones to be trade-off by the Nets.

Drummond shook hands with the Chicago Bulls for $6.6 million for a two-year contract. At the same time, the 25-year-old forward Bruce Brown Jr. got $13 million to play for Denver Nuggets for the next 2 seasons. Bruce has earned more than $13 million and the second year is the player option reported by ESPN.

Denver Nuggets are preparing for a high finish in the 2022/23 season. They settled for fourth in the last one but they aspire to something big this season. Bruce was offered a taxpayer mid-level exception which could have been easily matched by his former team Brooklyn Nets. The nets decided to hold onto their mid-level exception and didn’t go after Bruce.

Bruce had a breakout season in 2020-21 as he averaged 9.0 points in the season as well as had the 40.4% of shot conversion from 3-point range. losing Bruce Brown Jr. and Andre Drummond is a big blow for the Nets. Brooklyn Nets signed Utah Jazz’s Royce O’Neale who has been traded in exchange for a 2023 first-round draft pick.

Brown’s 6-foot-9 wingspan with small forward starts made him earn a lot of points for the Nets. Royce O‘Neale, a solid defender, will have to play a similar role as he stands 6’5 above the ground, an inch taller than Brown.

The Net’s summer roster for the league has been issued. It incorporates Cam Thomas, Day’Ron Sharpe, David Juke, and Kessler Edwards. There are 5 free agents, who are yet to join the roster and will be led by Alondes Williams.
