NFL action on Sunday finished with the Denver Broncos beating the San Francisco 49ers 11-10 at the Empower Field at Mile High. 

Here are highlights:

1) Aaron Rodgers beats Tom Brady in battle of the GOATs: 

 Aaron Rodgers, four-time MVP, threw for 255 yards and two touchdowns to guide the Green Bay Packers to a 14-12 win over seven-time Super Bowl winner Tom Brady’s Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Rodgers tossed TD passes of 5 yards to Romeo Doubs and 6 yards to Allen Lazard on his team’s first two possessions. He also completed 27 of 35 passes and was intercepted once. 

Brady inished 31 of 42 passing for 271 yards and one touchdown. He was sacked three times.

2) Miami Dolphins remain undefeated: 

The Miami Dolphins managed to hold off Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills twice in the final minutes to improve to 3-0 with a 21-19 victory on Sunday. 

Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, who briefly left the game in the second quarter, finished with 186 yards and a touchdown pass to River Cracraft.

3) Indianapolis Colts taste success:

The Colts secured their first win of the season after they beat the  the Kansas City Chiefs 20-17 at the Lucas Oil Stadium.

Patrick Mahomes’ Chiefs looked poised for their third consecutive win of the season. They went 17-14 to the final quarter. However, an eight-minute plus, 76-yard drive led to Jelani Woods’ game-winning TD.

Mahomes was intercepted with just two seconds remaining in the game. 

4) Khalil Herbert’s brilliant show:

After Chicago Bearns running back David Montgomery was forced off the field during the first quarter due to an injury, a 24-year-old Khalil Herbert stepped up. 

He registered his first carry for 8 yards and the next two carries for 11 yards each. The RB ran for a career-high 157 yards and two touchdowns. The Bears beat Houston 23-20.

5) Seattle Seahawks vs Atlanta Falcons halted:

The game between Seattle and Atlanta was briefly halted after eports emerged that there is an unlicensed drone at Lumen Field. 

With just under seven minutes left in the fourth quarter, players were called off the field. 

“Seattle Seahawks game halted because of an unidentified drone hovering near the stadium. NFL and other leagues have written Congress about this. Comparing other facilities, there have been nearly 2,000 drone sightings near U.S. airports since 2021, according to DHS,” Aviation reporter at Politico Oriana Pawlyk tweeted.
