With four touchdown passes from Kyler Murray, Arizona Cardinals maintained their winning start to the NFL season, registering a 37-14 win over Cleveland Browns on Sunday.

With the win, the Cardinals are the only unbeaten team this season and continued their best start since 1974.

Despite the absence of Kingsbury and star linebacker Chandler Jones, who both tested positive for COVID-19 this week, the Cardinals (6-0) established a 20-0 lead in the first half and kept their spotless record intact.

Murray threw two touchdown passes to DeAndre Hopkins, and Arizona’s shrewd quarterback came up with a game-winning play whenever the Cardinals needed it.

For the first time under coach Kevin Stefanski, the Browns (3-3) have lost two straight games, and Cleveland has greater problems, most notably a mounting list of serious ailments. The most recent was running back Kareem Hunt, who was carried to the locker room with a calf injury in the fourth quarter.

Cleveland already had standout running back Nick Chubb out with a calf injury, and the Browns will be without both starting offensive tackles against Denver on Thursday night.

Baker Mayfield looked to re-injure his left shoulder, while wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. was forced to leave the game with a shoulder injury. Mayfield fumbled twice and threw an interception, for a total of three turnovers.

When Cardinals great defensive end J.J. Watt ran down Mayfield and caused a turnover by sweeping away the quarterback’s legs, the Browns were down 23-14. Mayfield lay down for many minutes, with Watt kneeling close, and was inspected again in the medical tent, but he refused to leave.

Murray made the Browns pay for his fumble by tossing a 9-yard touchdown pass to a wide-open Hopkins to put the Cardinals up 30-14.

Hunt was later untargeted on a pass play and slumped to the ground without making contact. While being helped to the sideline, he was unable to put any weight on his leg.

The Cardinals didn’t miss a beat thanks to Murray’s efforts. He completed 20 of 30 throws for 229 yards and four touchdowns, tying his career-high.

The Browns, desperate for a good play, got one on the final snap of the first half when Mayfield connected with Donovan Peoples-Jones for a 57-yard touchdown throw.
