Antonio Conte, the Tottenham Hotspur manager, was blamed for his tactical choices as Spurs drew 2-2 against West London side Brentford on Boxing Day at Gtech Stadium.
“Terrible tactic? It shows that our defense is shit and needs to be clear out! Dier under no fucking pressure boot the ball away resulting in a corner that got a goal! Shambolic goalkeeper cost the first goal. So where’s conte tactics in all of these?” a fan said on Twitter.
“Spurs fans think they are improving? The amount of times that quality has dug them out of a whole this season. They have consistently been poor. Conte has to go imo,” a second one said.

“Happy with the draw but Conte seems to make games hard work the way we played the last part if we did that all game I reckon we could have won,” said a third one.

Since the Italian manager arrived in North London, he has led the club to Champions League qualification by finishing fourth in the 2021-22 season. They are still currently fourth in the league and ahead of big guns like Liverpool and Manchester United.
As a result, many fans were unhappy with the criticism that Conte is receiving after the Bretford draw.
“How can you blame him? If he is forced to play fucking Japheth tanganga, Eric Diarrhea, and lenglet. Tbh I don’t think we would struggle that much if at least we had two good centre backs… but we only have one, so yes I won’t blame conte yet,” the fan said.
