The Carolina Panthers travelled to face the Los Angeles Rams in Week 6 of the 2022 NFL season on Sunday, October 16. While the Panthers looked underwhelming in patches, it was their wide receiver Robbie Anderson who made the headlines, after he was sent out of the field by interim coach Steve Wilks.

The incident took place in the third quarter, when Anderson looked to be having an argument with Joe Dailey, the wide receivers’ coach. Later, he was given the marching orders by interim coach Steve Wilks.

Robbie Anderson was an unused substitute against the Los Angeles Rams when he was caught on camera in the third quarter arguing with wide receivers’ coach Joe Dailey. The 29-year-old did not look happy and looked to be having a disagreement with Dailey. After some time, the Panthers’ interim coach Steve Wilks sent him to the locker room, in what was later reported as a disciplinary order.

The Panthers were losing the game 17-10 when Anderson was given the marching order, and the Rams increased their lead after he left. The Rams scored 7 more points in the fourth and final quarter, beating the Panthers 24-10.

Reportedly, Robbie Anderson had an emotional breakdown when he was removed from the field as he asked for a possible trade away from the Panthers. According to several reports, the Carolina Panthers are also looking to trade him away as a disciplinary measure.
