Marcus Mariota held the position of starting quarterback for the Tennessee Titans, the Las Vegas Raiders, and the Atlanta Falcons after being selected with the second overall pick in the 2015 NFL Draft. He joined the Philadelphia Eagles in 2023 as a backup for starting quarterback Jalen Hurts. Additionally, he played the lead role in the Netflix series Quarterback, which gave fans an inside peek at what it’s like to be the signal caller for a professional football club and Kiyomi Cook’s husband.

Who is Kiyomi Cook?
Kiyomi Cook, who grew up in Gresham, Oregon, was a standout soccer player at Sam Barlow High School, where she was named first team all-conference and second team all-state in 2008.
She received a soccer scholarship to the University of Oregon, where she played as a midfielder for four years while earning a degree in human physiology and psychology.
Before Kiyomi entered the league amid much excitement in 2015, she and Marcus, 29, were first spotted together at an NFL Draft party.

Together, the pair relocated to Nashville so that Kiyomi could attend Lipscomb University to get her master’s degree in exercise and nutrition science.
She also maintained her love of the game by coaching at Father Ryan High School from 2016 to 2020 and the University School of Nashville from 2015 to 2019. After several years of dating, the pair became engaged in the summer of 2020, and they later wed in a simple ceremony the following year.
Since they first met in 2014 at the University of Oregon, Kiyomi has been by Marcus’s side throughout the entire journey.
The couple has two dogs and welcomed their daughter Makaia in December 2022.
Kiyomi is currently Motiv8’s social media director. Motiv8 is Marcus’ nonprofit.
The couple is generally secretive, but after Marcus’s role in Quarterback, which also stars Patrick Mahomes and Kirk Cousins, the spotlight will be on them.
