Apple on Tuesday unveiled its much awaited iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Mini, iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max, which, among other things comes equipped with the technology giant’s latest a14 bionic chip.

Launching the iPhone 12, Apple claimed that the A14 chip is the fastest processor in a smartphone in all times.

According to the tech giant, the processor comes equipped with a 6-core CPU, which is faster than any smartphone chip. The chip also has a 4-core GPU, which will provide a better gaming experience and will be a good choice for machine learning. Apple said that the GPU is the fastest in any smartphone, which can deliver faster graphics.

Apple also said that it had increased the performance of the neural engine from 8 to 16 cores, which can speed up its ability to processes related to AI-related operations.

The A14 chip also comes in the latest iPad Air, and is “capable of performing up to 11 trillion operations per second, taking machine learning apps to a whole new level”, the company had said in an earlier blog.

The iPhone 12 series includes 5G, a dual camera system, and the phone-protecting ceramic shield material. The Phones were launched during its ‘High Speed’ event on Tuesday.
