Audrey Hale, 28-year-old transgender person who has been identified as the Covenant School, Nashville shooting suspect, drove to the location in his Honda Fit car. The Metro Nashville Police Department shared a CCTV video of him driving and pictures of the vehicle.

Three students died and as many staff workers lost their lives in the mass shooting. Hale was killed by the police.

The victims were identified as Evelyn Dieckhaus, Hallie Scruggs, and William Kinney, all 8 or 9 years old, and adults Cynthia Peak, 61; Katherine Koonce, 60; and Mike Hill, 61.

“Active shooter Audrey Elizabeth Hale drove to Covenant Church/School in her Honda Fit this morning, parked, and shot her way into the building. She was armed with 2 assault-type guns and a 9 millimeter pistol,” Nashville PD tweeted along with a video of Hale driving.

Police added that additional writings by Audrey Hale were found inside her car – a Honda Fit. It was found parked outside the scene. Detectives searched the car and “found additional material written by Hale,” according to police, who released a picture of the vehicle.

However, officials did not reveal what the material said.

“Active shooter Audrey Elizabeth Hale, 28, drove this Honda Fit to the Covenant Church/school campus this morning and parked. MNPD detectives searched it and found additional material written by Hale,” the tweet read.

Hale did have a detailed map of the school, including potential entry points, with him, which meant the shooting could have been pre-planned.

“We have a manifesto, we have some writings that we’re going over that pertain to this date, the actual incident,” Officer Drake said. “We have a map drawn out of how this was all going to take place.”
