Popular K-pop band BTS‘ fans referred to as BTS ARMY extended their support to the 7-member group ahead of its speech at the 76th United Nations General Assembly on Monday in New York. The hashtag #gotarmyrightbehindyou became one of the most trending topics on Twitter worldwide.

Ever since the band announced its UN Speech, Fans have been counting seconds for the D-Day and it’s finally here.
Since the morning of September 20, Twitter has been flooded with reactions and fans have been tweeting about their previous speech and how excited they are to see the boys appear on the United Nations stage using #gotarmyrightbehindyou.
The group has accompanied South Korean President Moon Jae-in for the event, which is scheduled to take place from September 19 to 23.
The band BTS went to Blue House last week and the President officially appointed them as the ‘Presidential Special Envoy for Future Generations and Culture.’

According to Twitter conversations, the band’s speech is expected to be based on youth among pandemic and their issues. Few days before the event, the K-pop group had launched a social media campaign ‘Youth Today, Youth Story’.
Under this campaign, the musical group encouraged youngsters to share their pandemic stories and how the past two years in the lockdown and quarantine have been for them.
“Dear young people, What were the past 2 yrs like for you, and what’s your world like today? Express the precious things that make up your world or show who you are now with an image, an emoji or a word At the UN, your stories will begin,” the BTS wrote on Twitter alongside the poster.
