Director Matt Reeves and Warner Bros. continue to build the hype around The Batman trailer’s epic release at the DC FanDome on October 16.

It has been confirmed that the virtual event on Saturday will feature a variety of information about whatever’s coming up next in the DC Extended Universe, including an extended look at Robert Pattinson’s The Batman.

With a star-studded guest list, the event is sure to bring a plethora of news for DC fans.

Leading up to the event, makers of different DC movies and shows have been teasing their fans with posters, sneak peaks and surprise reveals.

Earlier this week, Matt Reeves shared a still of The Batman overlooking Gotham City in the upcoming trailer, soon to be launched at DC FanDome.

Just a few hours ago, Warner Bros. shared two new posters for The Batman, revealing a better look at the Riddler, a supervillain and Batman’s enemy.

The first poster shows Robert Pattinson’s Batman front and centre, bathed in moody red light.

The second poster reveals a fresh look at The Riddler, played by Paul Deno.

In the poster, The Riddler’s face is all covered and out of focus is a ‘?’ symbol on his jacket.

The Riddler is holding out a note that reads “To The Batman”, written in ominous handwriting.

The posters give off a very intense vibe, especially the blazing red palette and the scratchy aesthetic, which could mean a full on horror-centric take on the film characters.

Other than The Batman, a bunch of announcements are expected to be made around upcoming projects at the DC FanDome.

The DC FanDome is a virtual fiesta for fans of the DC Universe present all around the globe. It was born in June 2020 out of what is considered to be Warner Bros. and DC’s response to the cancellation of San Diego Comic Con’s edition due to the coronavirus pandemic.
