Tyler Boebert, the eldest child of Representative Lauren Boebert, was given a “careless driving causing bodily injury” ticket on September 17, 2022, for involvement with a late-night accident in which he drove his father’s SUV into a Garfield County creek bed. Tyler’s friend Noble D’Amato, who was riding a shotgun, ended up in the hospital as a result of this incident.

Who is Noble D’Amato?

Noble D’Amato is a 19-year-old teenager who was involved in a car accident with Lauren Boebert’s son, Tyler Boebert.

D’Amato recently accused the Colorado representative of attempting to cover up his serious injuries. Apparently, in September 2022, he and Tyler, who was 18 at the time, were traveling in the front seat of a car when it overturned. According to Westword, this event left D’Amato with “multiple concussions and a severely lacerated hand.”

“I still have problems with my hand,” D’Amato told the Colorado outlet. “My thumb almost got cut off. It prevented me from getting a welding job because I can’t hold a TIG torch anymore. I’m a personal-care provider now.”

D’Amato claims the younger Boebert, who is about to become a father, was ‘stone cold sober’ at the time of the tragedy. He said that Boebert was driving “so f***ing fast” and was sober at the time of the collision. According to the investigators, Boebert was unable to navigate a left-hand curve on the road and swerved off to the right before spinning into a  way.

Unauthorized Xanax tablets and a ‘silver marijuana grinder with a small amount of marijuana’ were found in D’Amato’s rucksack, leading to charges of unlawful possession of a schedule IV controlled narcotic and possession of drug paraphernalia against the 19-year-old.

Although D’Amato acknowledged that what happened was an accident, he pressed the family to accept the reality of this. “I know he didn’t mean to do it. It was an accident. But the fact that they’re downplaying it like this is something else. Superficial injuries? I got multiple concussions. My thumb was almost cut off. I couldn’t hold a torch. It prevented me from getting a welding job. So, yeah, harm was definitely done,” D’Amato said.
