An aspirant rapper who was shot in the head, his body has been found inside a barrel at Malibu Lagoon State Beach, according to a recent report from the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner.
The coroner’s report formally classified the aspiring rapper’s death as a homicide in addition to the fatal gunshot wound to the head. The inquiry into the incident’s circumstances has been stepped up in response to the finding of the young musician’s deceased body, which was discovered naked and sealed inside the barrel at Malibu Lagoon State Beach.

Who was Javonnta Murphy?
Javonnta Murphy was 32 years old. He was an aspiring rapper and musician with lofty aspirations of becoming a well-known artist. Together with his four brothers, he grew up in South Los Angeles. He had only recently moved into his first apartment in Sylmar when he died.
Patrick Nelson, a 46-year-old family friend, said he was unaware of Murphy’s regular visits to the Malibu region. Murphy, according to him, was a decent young man who wasn’t involved in any gang-related activity. Nelson admitted to being perplexed and unable to name any possible adversaries who would have had a reason to target Murphy.

His body was discovered floating in the ocean close to the Pacific Coast Highway bridge inside a 55-gallon barrel on July 31, as per media reports.
An employee of the park who was doing maintenance noticed the barrel and went to investigate in a kayak. According to the L.A. Sheriff’s Department, the barrel proved to be too heavy to be brought onshore, so it was left in the ocean.

The barrel was discovered the following morning about 10 a.m. when a lifeguard arrived for duty. When they opened it after swimming out to get it, they were horrified to see Murphy’s body inside.
