Former United States President Donald Trump has released his first NFT collection. On Wednesday, Trump shared a post on his Truth Social account, saying he will make a major announcement on Thursday. The 2024 presidential candidate is offering Trump Digital Trading Cards for $99 each.

Trump is long known for releasing branded products and has added one more to the list, an NFT collection. The Donald Trump Digital Trading Card collection was launched on Trump’s truth social account. “Would make a great Christmas gift. Don’t Wait. They will be gone, I believe, very quickly!” Trump wrote.

The sweepstakes linked with the collection launch offers prizes like a 1-on-1 Zoom call or one hour of golf with Trump. There is also the opportunity to receive a guaranteed ticket to a gala dinner with Trump in South Florida for anyone who purchases 45 of the digital trading cards. The NFT collection will be minted on the Polygon blockchain, with a total of 45,000 NFTs created in the “initial” run of the collection, according to the site.

“These are just like
baseball cards, but you collect them digitally, on your computer or phone. All
you need is an email address and a credit card to start collecting 1, 10, 20 or

The new collection is available for US users only and NFTs are sold for “only $99.” Purchases can be made through either a credit card or Wrapped Ether (WETH). The NFTs are designed by illustrator Clark Mitchell. The collection is released almost three after Trump said he was not fan of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.

Trump’s announcement comes after the launch of his 2024 presidential election campaign. Trump, who served as US president from 2017 to 2021, failed in his 2020 re-election bid and falsely claimed that the election was stolen.
