Twitter experienced significant problems with their site and app on Friday, as per user reports.

Downdetector.com, which is the go-to site to know of such outages, logged a spike in user reports of Twitter being down at 12:13 p.m. ET. Several users noted that their tweets weren’t loading and showed the error message “Something went wrong. Try reloading”. Others also reported getting logged out of Twitter and being unable to log back in.

The complaints started going down in a while since the Twitter support team was quick to respond and soon put out a post stating that they’d resolved the issue. They said, “We’ve fixed a technical bug that was preventing timelines from loading and Tweets from posting. Things should be back to normal now. Sorry for the interruption!”

These problems at Twitter come a day after the social media company put out their report stating that the Q4 2021 financial results fell short of the Wall Street estimated earnings. However, their monetizable daily active users all over the world hit a record 217 million, which is up 6 million sequentially and shows a 13% increase year over year.
