Netflix is being trolled on social media for return of the movie ‘Titanic’ on their website days after the Titan submersible drowned and the issue is in news.

The website is receiving flak for cashing the tragedy.

‘My Heart Will Go On’ by Celine Dion has seen a surge in streams with over half a million Spotify plays since Thursday, TMZ reported. ‘Titanic’ will be added back to Netflix on July 1st after previously being removed in August.

What happened to the Titan?

The sub and its support ship left St. John’s, Newfoundland, Canada, on June 16. Two days later, the submersible started its dive to the Titanic, which is located 12,500 feet below the surface of the North Atlantic Ocean roughly 370 miles off the coast of Newfoundland. The Canadian support ship Polar Prince, which was in charge of keeping an eye on the submersible, lost contact with it at one hour and forty-five minutes into the dive.

Search and rescue personnel discovered exterior sections of the Titan on Thursday morning close to the Titanic disaster after a hasty rush to recover a 22-foot submersible with five men on board to see the Titanic. The personnel on board are dead, according to OceanGate, the firm in charge of the project.

The debris on the ocean floor was “consistent with catastrophic loss of the pressure chamber” in the submersible, said Rear Admiral John Mauger of the U.S. Coast Guard at a press conference on Thursday. This was confirmed to be true of the submersible, which was discovered 1,600 feet from the Titanic’s bow. The Titan imploded at an unknown time, according to Coast Guard personnel.

The Titan was found to be nearby a “debris field” on Thursday, according to the Coast Guard. The Titan’s landing frame and rear cover, among other Titan-related parts, were found in the debris, according to the Coast Guard after it was examined. After it was anticipated that the sub would have run out of oxygen, the debris was found.

OceanGate said it was equipped with a 96-hour supply of oxygen. That would have lasted until Thursday morning. The Coast Guard led the frantic rescue mission that employed U.S. and Canadian ships, aircraft and other equipment.
