Week 7 of the 2022 NFL Season started with an incredible game between the Arizona Cardinals and New Orleans Saints at the University of Phoenix Stadium on Friday Night. The Cardinals defeated 42-34 to win their third game of the season but remain at the bottom of the NFC West division.
On Sunday, there were some surprising defeats for top-rated teams like Tampa Bay Buccaneers who rely on their tight ends for blocking the opposition’s defenders and then go into open spaces for catching the ball or run plays for their wide receivers.

1) George Kittle (San Francisco 49ers)
San Francisco 49ers were demolished 44-23 at home vs the Kansas City Chiefs in a game where newly acquired RB Christian McCaffrey made his debut. Kittle was the standout player for his team as he caught six passes in nine targets for 98 yards and a touchdown.
2) Juwan Johnson (New Orleans Saints)
Although New Orleans Saints lost a high-scoring game to the Arizona Cardinals on Friday, Johnson was spectacular for the Saints scoring two receiving TDs for 32 yards in 5 receptions.

3) Travis Kelce (Kansas City Chiefs)
The best tight end in NFL currently, Kelce played a great game in a second-half humiliation of the 49ers, ending the game by catching six receptions for 98 yards. He played a good supporting role in blocking defenders when WR Mecole Hardaman scored two first-half TDs.
4) David Njoku (Cleveland Browns)
The fifth-year TE played a splendid role in his team’s close 23-20 defeat to the Baltimore Ravens. Njoku played his seventh game of the season, ending with seven receptions for 71 yards.
5) Taysom Hill (New Orleans Saints)
The tight end featured and played a very silent successful against the Arizona Cardinals, catching just one pass for a TD while also rushing with the football three times for nine yards.
