Child or cheese? Tesla CEO Elon Musk seems to have chosen the latter. 

Amid reports of his child Xavier filing legal documents to change her name in order to cut ties with her father, Elon Musk apparently has just one thing on his mind: cheese.

Adopting her mother’s last name on Tuesday, 18-year-old Xavier decided to file documents in L.A. County to change her full name to Vivian Jenna Wilson and announce her trans identity. 

“Gender Identity and the fact that I no longer live with or wish to be related to my biological father in any way, shape or form,” she said, according to TMZ.

While this move had complete potential to produce a reaction from any father, Musk remained apathetic and decided to focus on other important things in life. 

“What … is your favorite cheese?” the 50-year-old asked his followers on Twitter.

Uploaded an hour ago, the tweet has garnered over 37,000 likes and more than 3,000 comments.

One user then shared images of Musk’s Wheel of Cheese that was launched into space on his company’s spaceflight.

“If I were to eat cheese, this would be the only one,” the user wrote. 

Musk then responded, “That was the largest wheel of cheese in the Beverly Hills Cheese Shop!”

“The sheer variety of cheese is amazing,” he added in another tweet.

Musk then attached a link to a Monty Python skit and wrote, “But sometimes they’re out of stock.”

“Some great suggestions in the comments!” he wrote in the Twitter thread that includes several cheese recommendations by users.
