The ‘Kapil Sharma Show’ fame actor Sunil Grover, who was also appreciated for his role as Gurpal in Saif Ali Khan’s starrer web series ‘Tandav’, is once again ready to break free from his funny image with his next project. 

He will now be seen in the murder mystery ‘Sunflower’ that is slated to release on the OTT platform Zee 5 on June 11.

The first look poster of the show features Sunil as Sonu and he is seen pointing his finger towards his squint eyes encircled with a crime setting. There are police tape, handcuffs, syringes, and poison bottles in the background of the poster.

Sharing his look from the show, Sunil Grover recently tweeted, “Drama aur Dhamaka Ab shuru hoga Sonu ki life mai alsi hungama! Unveil the mysteries of #Sunflower.”

“The poster builds a lot of intrigue around the plot as well as my character. I play Sonu in the show and if you had to describe his quirks creatively, this poster would be the perfect answer! Wait till you get introduced to all the other characters as well,” Sunil said previously.

The series will also star Ranvir Shorey, Girish Kulkarni, Ashish Vidyarthi, and Shonali Nagrani in pivotal roles.

The show is written and directed by Vikas Bahl and co-directed by Rahul Sengupta.
