Yoo Ji-tae is all set to play the character of “The Professor” in Netflix’s upcoming TV-series Money Heist Korea- Joint Economic Area Part 2. Following the overwhelming response to Part 1 of Money Heist Korea, Netflix revealed the first look at Part 2 during their annual event- Tudum. The gang, led by the Professor, is ready to carry on with their heist in part 2.
The show is a spin-off of the titular Spanish show. Money Heist: Korea – Joint Economic Area captured the original’s magic while remaining uniquely Korean. The show was set against the background of a world in which the two Koreas are on the verge of reunification, with Hahoe masks dating back to the 12th century.

Ji Tae’s next K-drama, Mad Dog, is all about action. Choi Kang Woo, the leader of the medical insurance investigation committee Mad Dog, is played by him. He used to work for an insurance company, but after losing his wife and son in a plane crash, he devotes his life to discovering the truth behind the event. We adore the family relationship he has with his motley crew! Bonus: If you like Woo Do Hwan, you’ll love him in this show as a con man member, Min Joon.
4. Money (2019)
Money, which was released in 2019, features Ryu Jun Yeol as Jo Il-Hyun, the son of a raspberry rancher who hails from a humble family but aspires to become a stockbroker and be ostensibly wealthy. He meets Number Ticket (Yoo Ji Tae), a man who surreptitiously regulates and masterminds the sharemarket scam.
5. When My Love Blooms (2020)
This love story starring Yoo Ji Tae and Lee Bo Young will brighten your day. It depicts the blooming romance between Han Jae Hyun and Yoon Ji Soo, who were each other’s first love in college. After years apart, they are reunited in their forties. This drama is both sensual and deeply moving, owing to the fact that Han Jae Hyun and Yoon Ji Soo must think rationally despite their deep feelings for each other.
