1. The Fast and the Furious Series (2019,2017,2015,2013,2011)

Dwayne Johnson appeared in the installments of The Fast and the Furious series playing the character of Luke Hobbs. Luke Hobbs is a Diplomatic Security Services Officer who is first assigned to bring down Dom’s crew. Johnson infiltrates the team and feels more on board with their mission. The movie also stars Vin Diesel, Tyrese Gibson, and Ludacris. 

2. Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle

The sequel to 1995 Jumanji, Welcome to the Jungle is a movie about four high schoolers. While playing the video game, they are whisked into the game’s jungle and inhabit the character they chose to represent them. Dwayne Johnson is joined by Kevin Hart, Jack Black and Karen Gillan. The movie grossed over $400 million.

3. Snitch 

Snitch is a 2013 action film starring Dwayne Johnson. It is his first action movie. Johnson’s son in the movie gets arrested as the victim of a sting operation and is sent to prison. Johnson steps in to become a snitch and delivers a drug cartel higher-up in exchange for a reduced sentence for his son. Johnson stars as a serious character in the movie.

Moana is a 2016 animated movie from Pixar. Disney’s Oscar-nominated movie starred Johnson’s voice for the character Maui. Maui is a stubborn and self-righteous character. Johnson also has some singing in the movie. The movie proves that it is not necessary to show your face or rock-hard biceps to give an incredible performance. 

5. The Rundown

Rundown is a 2003 film directed by Peter Berg. Johnson displayed his flair for comedy in the movie. He stars as Beck, a bounty hunter whose boss gives him one last assignment, to go to Brazil to retrieve his son Travis.
