American rapper and singer Aaron Carter has died at the age of 34, TMZ reported quoting law enforcement sources. He was reportedly found dead at his residence in Lancaster, California, on Saturday. 

Deputies responded around 11 AM following reports of a medical emergency at the home in Lancaster, said Deputy Alejandra Parra with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

Carter’s fiancée, Melanie Martin, asked for privacy as the family grieves.

“We are still in the process of accepting this unfortunate reality,” Martin said in a statement Saturday. “Your thoughts and prayers are greatly appreciated.”

Aaron Carter family: 

The 34-year-old started dating model Melanie Martin in 2020. In June of that year, they got engaged. Aaron and Melanie welcomed their first child, a son named Prince, in November 2021. They parted ways in February 2022. 

Aaron has seven siblings – 

Aaron Carter was born to Jane Elizabeth and Robert Gene Carter in Tampa, Florida. His parents ran a retirement home. 

The Carter family was originally from New York City. In addition to his brother Nick Carter, member of the Backstreet Boys, Aaron had three sisters and as many brothers. 

All Carter siblings: Aaron Carter, Nick Carter, Angel Carter, Leslie Carter, Bobbie Jean Carter, Virginia Marie Carter, Taelyn Dobson and Kaden Brent Carter.

Aaron Carter’s twin sister Angel is a former model. As per her IMDB profile, she was born on December 7, 1987. She reportedly pursued her career in interior designing. 

Angel is married to her partner Corey Conrad and two have one daughter together.

Carter’s 2000 album, “Aaron’s Party (Come Get It),” sold three million copies and produced hit singles including the title song and “I Want Candy. His videos received regular airplay on Disney and Nickelodeon.

In 2009, Carter appeared on the ABC competition show “Dancing with the Stars,” finishing in fifth place with partner Karina Smirnoff.

Carter’s fifth and final studio album, “LOVE,” was released in 2018.
