Alia Bhatt-starrer ‘Sadak 2’ has become the lowest-rated film on film rating website IMDb, weeks after its trailer became the most ‘disliked’ video on YouTube. The film has been rated 1.1 out of 10 on the website based on about 10,000 reviews.
The movie, featuring Alia Bhatt, Sanjay Dutt and Aditya Roy Kapur in lead roles, released on August 28 on Disney+ Hotstar at 7:30 pm. Shortly after, the movie started being criticised by the audience.
‘Sadak 2’ became the most ‘disliked’ video on YouTube shortly after it released on August 12, beating Justin Bieber’s music video ‘Baby’ which had garnered 11.63 million dislikes. The trailer of the movie took the song’s spot after nearly a decade.
People across the nation have been criticising ‘Sadak 2’ shortly after the announcement of its release for having a cast that they claim to be a result of nepotism. The movie has been directed by Alia’s father Mahesh Bhatt.
This uproar has come amid the conversations that have opened regarding nepotism after the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput.
